Optometrist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Optometrist treats vision problems. They diagnose the
problem and prescribed corrective eyeglasses, contact lenses, or vision
therapy. Some optometrists specialize in industrial vision safety, treatment of
vision related safety. Unlike ophthalmologist they are not physicians and may
not write any prescriptions. Many work at hospitals or government agencies.
Salary: $78,000
Education:
Students interested in becoming an optometrist should take
the most challenging high school courses. They should take math, science, and
English. Before entering school they need 2 years of college. The school is 1
year in length. At completion you are rewarded with a certificate, and then
must pass the state exams before being licensed.

No I would not like to be one because they don't make a lot of mopey and that is kind of what I'm sole interested in.
