Attitude is the mind's paintbrush. It can color any situation.

What I think this saying means is that everything is white, and your brain is the paint. You can have a good attitude and paint it colorful, with cheerful colors. That means that you want to be happy, On the other hand, you can  paint it with gloomy colors, like black and brown. With those colors, you might be sad, angry, depressed. Your mind can do a lot of powerful things, but your attitude can stop it from doing so, or empower it to do so.

Social Worker

Duties and Responsibilities:
They must help families adjust to new changes and help them if they have problems such as illness, abuse, substance abuse, mental illness and other anti-social behavior. They must often help people accept that the situation has changed. Most social workers work at hospitals, offices, courts, and at clinics. They must interview the people they are going to work with, develop plans to help those in need, and refer the clients to specialists.

Salary:
$20,000 - $42,000

Education:
Students should prepare for a career in social work by taking challenging high school courses, especially in English, science, and math. Some organizations may allow a social worker to practice with a bachelor's degree but most require a graduate degree. The next need to have a 2 year licensing completion in order to work.

Do you think you would like to be one?
No I would not like to be one I don't think I can handle all these scenarios where you have to be looking at people who  have been in horrible things like abuse, or drugs, etc. I think I am too weak minded for this job and I feel like it is not my thing.

"There is no giant step that does it. It's a lot of little steps."
-Anon

I think what this "Anon" means is that you can't become a professional at something, if you try it for the first time. It takes time and patience. It can't be done in one second, it wouldn't make sense. In order to be something in life you have to have the patience and attitude of a champion, even if you don't succeed most of the time. That is what makes people great.
Recreation Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities:
They help patients restore, re mediate, and rehabilitate the patients level of functioning. They promote health and wellness as well as reduce or eliminate activity limitations and restrictions. They help the person be more life like due to an accident or illness or disabling condition. They restore motor, social and cognitive functioning and help develop coping skills.

Salary: $42,000

Education: A high school diploma is required and the student should be emphasized on science, English, and math. They then have to take a 3 year course in order to become a licensed professional. Courses can be taken on the job or an "express" course that last for 1 year. Then they are able to work anywhere on the state.

Do you think you would like to be one?
No I would not like to be one because I think it is boring. I feel like they don't get paid enough even if they are restoring a whole person to almost brand new. I don't think it makes any sense to do that unless you are that kind heart-ed.

"Right is right, even if everyone is agaisnt it; and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it."
-William Penn

This is an amazing quote because everyone can relate to it. The most famous example would be slavery because everyone was for it. It helped our economy and country, but it was wrong. Even if it did do all of that, we all knew it was wrong but almost nobody dared to do a thing. This is a great example that supports his quote. Another famous one would be the nazi one because hitler and germany were for it, even though they knew deep inside that it wasn't right.

Cowardice asks the question 'Is it safe?'
Expediency asks the question 'It is politic?'
Vanity asks the question 'Is is popular?'

But, conscience asks the questions, 'Is it right?'
And there comes a time when one must take a position
that is neither safe, nor politic, nor
popular, but one must take it because one's
conscience tells one that it is right.
-Dr.Martin Luther King, Jr.

This is a great quote by a great man. He is basically saying that you can be cocky, rude, disrespectful, but deep inside you always know that what you do is wrong and bad. Your conscience always wins over, and that is when you realize that all you have done is bad. He is stating that conscience is the only thing that makes us, humans.

"Let us have faith that right makes might, and in faith let us to the end dare to do our duty as we understand it."
-Abraham Lincoln

-I think what this amazing president means is that you should always do right, and doing right should be your most powerful weapon. If everyone used the power of being fair and just, there would be no problems in the world that we can't solve. We just need to understand that being right is all we need as a human to live long without conflict or wars.

"That which we persist in doing become easier to do, not that the nature of things has changed, but that our power to do has increased."

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

This is a great quote because it makes a lot of sense. Anyone with a bit of brain can understand this. He is saying that, at first things might seem hard, but the more you do them and keep trying the more easier they seem or are. I believe that anything will always be hard in the beginning because you don't have experience with those things, but as soon as you get the hang of it, it will not only be easier, but it will start to be more enjoyable.
