Student Success Statement
"Have the courage to say no. Have the courage to face the truth. Do the right thing because it is right."
-W.Clement Stone

I think what this means is that as long as you have courage, your life will be easy. For example, someone might get bullied every single day of their life, but you don't, why? That person might not have the courage to speak up and say no, or tell a teacher, but you do. That is why they bully him and not you. Another example would be getting a job. During the interview, you have the courage to say your weaknesses and your strong-points, and why they need you for that job, while others might just sit there and listen to what the employer has to say.

Student Success Statement
"Kindness is the essence of greatness."
Joesph B. Wirthlin

I think what this man means is that anyone who is kind and nice, is great. If you help out a person in need, for example, giving out to the homeless, you will be great because in that exact moment you showed kindness. Even if no one saw you be great, you still feel great because you know you did the right thing and you really helped someone out that day. I also feel that even if no one sees you doing a thing, you shouldn't do it because of that, you should still do it for the sole purpose of self pleasure of feeling good and respectable

Do you think you would like to be one?
I do not want to be a Speech Pathologist because I don't like having to repeat myself numerous times, and this is what these people have to do as a living. I also don't like people who stutter because after a while it starts to get annoying.

Student Success Statement
"You will never be a winner if you lose your temper"
-Anon

I think what this guy/girl means is that nobody likes a sore loser. If you lose, suck it up, don't go crying about it. Do something if you lose, whether it be practice harder, work harder, train harder, or just learn from your mistakes. Nobody likes to hang around with "that guy" who complains all the time about simple stuff like losing a game or something. For example, my friend loses all the time, but he never gets sad or depressed, he just learns from his mistake so that he wont have to lose because of that again.
