They need an associate's degree in dental hygiene. A bachelor's degree in dental hygiene are also available but are less common. A bachelor's or master's degree is usually required for research, teaching, or clinical practice in public or school health programs. High school students interested in becoming dental hygienists should take courses in biology, chemistry, and mathematics. Some dental hygiene programs require applicants to have at least one year of college.

Do you think you would like to be one?
No I would not like to be one because I feel like they do not get paid a lot, I also feel like the area of teeth are not what I am interested in. This would be a great job if you don't want to go all the way, but other than that i feel like it is much more worth it to finish all 4 years at college.

Student Success Statement
"He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."
-A proverb

I think what this means is that whoever you hang out with, is who you are going to become like. For example if you are a good kid, but you start hanging out with stoners and retards, you are going to become like on of them, eventually. On the other hand, if you hang out with kids who are always studying and being respectful, you will eventually be like them, smart and respectful. "Friends" have a great influence on you even if you don't notice it, but by the time you do, you will see how much you have changed, and it could be for good or bad, it all depends on your choices.
