Health Science Librarian
Duties and Responsibilities:
They must collect and organize any type of medical
information that the doctors might find useful to treat and help a patient, whether
it be education, research, and administration. They must also select and acquire
books or journals, and use that to establish a data base to create catalogs or
magazines for the patients and students.
Salary:
$20,000 - $30,000 (Library
Technicians)
$35,000 - $55,000 (Librarians)
Education:
Students should take challenging courses in math, history
and English. Training varies by the employer but some of the training is
provided through schools and extensive training is provided in the hospital. To
qualify for a job, people need an undergraduate degree in life sciences, and at
least masters in library science,

No I would not like to be one because I think organizing
things is really dumb and boring. Yes, they do get paid a lot but it is not
really worth it since you might be bored out of your mind everyday just
organizing things around the library/hospital.
