Home Health Aide

Duties and Responsibilities:
These people provide help and aid to those at home in need of assistance, such as illness, injuries, elderly, or disabled people. Their duties include taking blood pressure and pulse of patients. They help with common activities such as getting out of the bed, taking baths, and dressing. They also make meals and housekeeping.

Salary: $8,000 - $18,000

Education:
Most employers prefer that nursing assistants have high school diploma or GED certificate.  Require some vocational school and at least community college training.

Do you think you would like to be a Home Health Aide?
I would not like to be an Aide because it seems like you are technically a  “maid” and you get paid little for all you do to help. It also seems dangerous because what if your patients is a murderer, rapists, or a crook.
