"I wasn't trying to leave a legacy. I was trying to do what was right."
Dean Smith
I think that this great man is right, you don't have to be recognized by anyone to do good, only as long as you feel you did the best you could possibly do, and this is exactly what he did. he never thought he would be the one being recognized and even then he still did it, and I truly respect him for that.

"CTR connects you to happiness and success. CTW disconnects you."

I think what this means is that if you choose the right you always get closer to happiness but its the other way around if you choose the wrong because if you do you always get taken back from your goal.

Emergency Medical technician
Duties and Responsibilities:

EMTs are clinicians, trained to respond quickly to emergency situations regarding medical issues, traumatic injuries, and accident scenes. They are not to be confused with the ambulance drivers, EMT’s are in the back taking care of the patient.

Average Yearly Salary:

$31,000

They must take a didactic course of 120 hours which includes practical, hands-on skill training. They must then take a clinical/field ride-along that is at least 24 hours in total and must have 10 patient contacts. They must finally take a test that is roughly 4-8 hours of everything they learned from lectures, presentations, skill labs, and simulations.
Would I like to be an EMT?
No I wouldn't because it takes too much work and time to be one, and what's worse is that they have too much and their mind and I'm guessing they are always physically tired for all the labor they must do. to top it off they have a horrible pay and almost everyone else can get paid the same or even more for less work than them.

"Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all."
Aristotle
I think what he means is if you study and you become a genius that's amazing, but what do you lose?
You lose many friends, your social skills, and you become unwanted because you are too smart. But if you were to learn but you also split your time with friends, you can learn and have a good time without losing much.

"In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing."

Theodore Roosevelt

This is a strong quote because everyone has to make a choice, sometimes it might be, "Should I do my homework, or wait until tomorrow?" The decision is simple, you should do it, why? Because it's the best choice you can make. It's the best for you because it helps you feel good and makes you a little smarter.

Student Success statement

"The right way is not always the popular and easy way. Standing for right when it is unpopular is a true test of moral character."
Margaret Chase Smith
I think what she means is that, you truly define who you are in difficult situations. For example, if you see somebody get in a fight, you can either show you care and try to break it off, or be just like every other person and stand there and watch. Maybe, you can just watch a lady have trouble passing the street, or you can actually go out there and help her pass the street, when everybody else wouldn't have done it.
