Part 3
"Obedience is central to becoming, being, and remaining happy."
-David A. Bednar
I feel like this quote is a quote everyone should live by. It makes total sense. If you follow directions nothing bad can ever happen to you because you don't deserve it. On the other hand if you keep messing and round and not doing what you are supposed to do, bad things will happen to you like consequences. A time out, a whooping, or even going to jail. You can avoid all these things if you avoid being disobedient.
Part 2
So far in my 100 goals, I  have been doing pretty well. I have accomplished around 20 goals and I feel extremely proud of myself, not because I accomplished my goals, but because I didn't stop until I did. I feel like I could be accomplishing so many more right now but there are other things I have to be doing as well, I have to manage my time correctly and it is pretty hard. I commit myself to finishing all of my goals as soon as I can and I also want to commit myself to reading those goals whenever I can, in order to refresh my memory and to give me more strength and determination in order to finish them.
Period 1
Part 1

  1. What did you like best about this class?
  • What I liked best about this class was that most of the work was simple and easy. I feel like this class was easy to pass as long as you followed directions. I also liked that we had a lot of free time to play games or do homework.
  1. What did you dislike about this class?
  • What I disliked about this class was that we did the same thing every day, I'd like to do something different for every other day instead of the same routine of Student Success and looking up jobs.
  1. What can you recommend to improve the class?
  • I would recommend that we use different programs like how to edit videos or make music etc. I'd also like to recommend that we go outside to and use different technology like Ipads to make and record videos.
  1. What will you always remember about this class?
  • I will remember CTR because it has helped me become a better student and friend because I can now distinguish between wrong and good.

Student Success Statement
"Obedience is the great test of life."
-Thomas S. Monson

I feel like this is a quote everyone should live by because it is not only important for yourself, but for everyone. Imagine if everyone followed the rules to no kill, do drugs, or hurt other people? The world would be so much better, but we don't. That is why be have murders and homicides. People do not obey the rules and that is why they do what they do. If you are obedient, you shouldn't have any type of problem in life, and this is what this great man is trying to tell us, but we do not listen.

Student Success Statement
"Obedience.... is the primary objective of all sound education."
-Elizabeth Missing Sewell

I think what this great woman means is that in order to be well educated, you have to pay attention and follow directions. For example, how would a little kid learn if he throws tantrums over test scores, over missing projects etc. in order for that kid to learn he has to shut up and listen. That's the only way anyone will learn. You can't talk back because that's being disobedient.

Student Success Statement
"Obedience sums up our entire duty."
-Hosea Ballou

I think what this great man means is that if you follow directions 100% you will never get in trouble and you can get all the freedom you want while still following directions. for example, if your job is it to guard that house, you have to guard it as part of your duty and as part of your obedience. You can do whatever you want as long as you keep guarding that house. The moment you stop following the rules is the moment you stopped doing you duty.
