Histology Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities:

This job includes both Technicians and Histologists. Histologists are also referred to as Histotechnologists. Both histologic technicians and histologists prepare tissue samples that physicists use to determine if patients have a disease, dysfunction, or malignancy.
They use equipment to lightly slice of an example of tissue, whether be it skin, hair, or infected tissue.

Salary:

$22,000 - $35,000

Education:

To become a histologic technician, students should either earn an associate’s degree in the field or complete a 1 year internship. Students wanting to become technicians should get high school courses in math, science, and English.

Reflection:
Do you think you would like to be a Histology Specialist? Why? Why not?
I would not like to become a specialist because it seems like a boring job and the pay isn’t that good either. If I had no other choice but to become this, I guess I would do it, but it isn’t something I would like to become.
