equipment used to diagnose and treat disease. They perform safety checks and

Educational
Requirements:
Students
should take challenging science, math, and electronics courses in high school.
Following
high school bio-medical equipment technicians complete one to three years of
course work in bio-medical equipment technology, medical-electronics, or bio-medical engineering. Most programs lead to certification and /or associate
degrees. Some employers will hire electronics technicians and provide
on-the-job bio-medical technology training.
